Overview

The Broadsorbor Panel consists of a multi-density, high performance acoustical core with hardened square or shaped edges and wrapped in an acoustical fabric. The Broadsorbor Panel offers the broadest and most consistent absorption coefficient available with little deviation in the performance bandwidth between 100Hz and 4000Hz, yielding a balanced NRC of 90. The panels are 2.25″ thick and available up to 4′ wide by 8′ tall sizes.

Installation
Broadsorbor Panels can be easily and quickly hung on any wall surface using RPG’s Impalit clip. For ceiling applications, the panels can be either direct mounted with Z-bar attachments or suspended using a cloud anchor kit. Panels can also be configured to install in a standard T-bar grid. Broadsorbor Panel 
In many spaces, flat reflective surfaces can cause interfering reflections and excessive reverberation which can corrupt work environments, meeting and gathering areas, music quality and speech intelligibility to name a few. One approach to controlling noise, sound reflections and excess reverberation is to utilize decorative, lightweight, sound absorbing acoustical wall and ceiling panels. RPG Broadsorbor™ Panels are the most comprehensive sound absorptive panels available in a 2.25″ total thickness. The Broadsorbor™ Panels consist of a multi-density absorbing core, covered with an acoustical fabric of choice. Panel edges are hardened and can be molded in a variety of profiles. RPG has developed a simple and reliable method of attachment which offers fixed or removable installation utilizing an impaling clip for walls, Z-bar for ceilings and embedding anchors for suspending in a ceiling cloud configuration.

Problem

Absorptive panels are used extensively in acoustical design to control noise, sound reflections and excess reverberation. In the most difficult noise control projects, quality, appropriate performance and ease of mounting are often problematic.
